• San Jose International Airport is located 2 miles north of downtown San Jose. It consists of 2 terminals (A and C) and an International Arrivals Facility. The airport services approximately 30,000 passengers per day with an average of 358 commercial and 174 general aviation departures and landings. Fourteen airlines use its 3 runways to serve 29 non-stop destinations. San Jose is Northern California's largest city . it is also the third largest city on the West Coast. Its 2.3 million people live within 30 minutes of the airport.
• 50 Silicon Valley industry leading companies are clustered within a 12 mile radius of Mineta San Jose International Airport. In addition, 29 of the nation's 100 fastest growing technology companies are located in Silicon Valley.
• Between 55% and 60% of the airport's passengers are traveling for business related reasons. Three-quarters of high technology businesses in the San Jose - San Francisco - Oakland Bay Area are headquartered in Silicon Valley. Ten rental car companies are housed in the Rental Car Center. Taxi service is available outside of baggage claim at both terminals.
